Introducing our First Homeschool Chic Podcast

We are so excited that we have our podcast up and running!!! You can listen to it here or on itunes.

Today at Homeschool Chic we talked about finding the balance during the summer between chores and letting the kids run wild. I tried both extremes. Listen to find out what I learned!

We also discussed how every choice you make with your children will either make you stronger or weaker. Listen for this great insight Quinn shared to improve every day for you and your children.

We would love your feedback so please don’t be afraid to comment below. :)

I LOVED the scripture you shared and the discussion on using the idea of strengthening vs. weakening as a way to measure tasks or opportunities throughout the day. What a powerful tool! I am grateful for your candidness about your own struggles with order and felt so uplifted and re-energized to make my home a house of order so we can have more peace and FUN! Adding this 3rd baby has been a real struggle for me and I am definitely not the mother that I know I should be and want to be right now. Thankfully, I can see things settling down in the near future as my baby approaches 3 months old and I’m excited to get back on track! You two ladies are wonderful and I’m so grateful that I happened upon you. What a strength and example you are to me!

Hi Ambra! Thanks for listening! I can totally relate to the 3rd baby throwing you for a loop. You’re right, it does get better with time. :) Remember that you are always the perfect mom for your kids, even on the “off days”. You are amazing! Love ya tons!

You ladies are awesome! I love what you are doing to strengthen women, homeschool moms especially, and shine such a positive light on homeschooling and what it can do for your children and your family. It is so great that you keep things real, sharing the good and the bad, instead of putting on a front of perfection. I loved when you talked about getting ready for church, we can all totally relate to that. Who hasn’t had a moment where they step back and think, “wow, was I really just doing that? What was I thinking?” Then you did a great job of putting everything back in perspective and giving wonderful suggestions for changing these kinds of destructive behaviors. You are doing an amazing job. Keep it up!
